Finding you ‘the perfect home’.
Masons Estate Agents
Sector: Real Estate
In a highly competitive property market, Masons Estate Agents in Caversham sought a standout advertising campaign to distinguish themselves from the usual estate agent clichés. Butterscotch Design developed the ‘The Perfect Home’ campaign, designed to highlight Masons’ expertise in helping clients find their ideal home.
Recognising that no two moves are the same, the campaign focused on the unique journey of each homebuyer. A bold, playful visual concept was developed using stylised illustrations of animals and their natural habitats—a creative metaphor for finding the perfect fit. These illustrations symbolise Masons’ ability to match clients to their dream homes, no matter their preferences.
The campaign was designed to work across multiple platforms, including advertising boards, website banners, flyers, and a creative direct mailing piece. The illustrations were tailored to different formats, ensuring consistency while adapting effectively to the medium.
The playful and visually engaging style ensured that Masons’ campaign stood out in a saturated market. By steering clear of industry clichés and focusing on storytelling through design, the campaign effectively communicated Masons’ ability to make the home-buying experience seamless and personal. The result was increased visibility and positive feedback, reinforcing Masons’ reputation as a trusted local estate agent.

A recipe for the perfect house move.
Another creative and playful advertising concept for Masons took inspiration from the idea of a ‘recipe for the perfect house move.’ This campaign embraced a rustic and charming aesthetic, with A-boards and print adverts designed to resemble chalkboards displaying an ingredients list and method for creating the ‘perfect move.’ The visual design was warm and inviting, evoking the comfort of home while maintaining a professional edge.
The campaign’s standout element was a direct mailer featuring a branded wooden spoon, embodying the campaign strapline and serving as a memorable keepsake for recipients. Attached to the spoon was a business card, ensuring that Masons’ contact information remained easily accessible. This tactile, interactive approach encouraged engagement and served as a unique conversation starter, setting Masons apart from their competitors.
